About Lincoln
Growing up in small-town Midwest America, Lincoln was surrounded by corn fields, apple orchards, a main street with family stores, and street corners dotted with churches. After moving to Colorado, the setting of the mountain west captured his imagination and drove a passion for writing and photography that highlighted the horses, people, events, locations and settings (past and present) of the American West. Both the midwest and mountain west environments – and his beautiful wife – continue to color his writing and how he captures the world through the lens of his cameras. Freelancing since 2002, thousands of pieces of his writing and photography have been published in dozens of magazines, books and internet websites, including the following:
Western Horseman Magazine ~ Persimmon Hill Magazine ~ GRIT ~ The Fence Post Magazine ~ Working Ranch Magazine ~ Barrel Horse News ~ Barrel Racing Magazine ~ Team Roping Journal ~ Cowboys & Indians Magazine ~ RoundUp Magazine ~ CowboyPoetry.com ~ The KetchPen ~ PhelpsSports.com ~ The Christian Sportsman ~ “Fear Not” Anthology Book ~ And More Added All The Time!!
Lincoln’s photography has also been used by numerous companies for marketing and promotional purposes.
